MISSION OBJECTIVE: 

The Global Corporate Partnership Manager is responsible for designing and implementing strategic initiatives that cultivate, grow, and steward high-value corporate partnerships aligned with Equality Now’s mission. The role serves as a key contributor to the organization’s fundraising strategy by managing a portfolio of corporate partners, developing high-impact campaigns and more tailored opportunities for engagement, and directly generating five-to seven-figure support. This position is central to positioning Equality Now as a partner of choice for corporations seeking to support gender equality globally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a general outline of duties and responsibilities for this role. It is not an exhaustive list, and additional duties may be assigned or removed at the discretion of the Global Director of Development to meet organizational needs and priorities:

Purpose: Innovate

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive strategy for corporate engagement, including setting annual revenue targets, engagement plans, and campaign activations (e.g., International Women’s Day, International Day of the Girl).
  • Conceptualize and design creative, high-value partnership offerings and donor experiences, collaborating across departments to align with programmatic and communications strategies.
  • Translate organizational goals into compelling partnership opportunities that reflect both Equality Now’s mission and partner priorities.
  • Drive the evolution of donor cultivation and stewardship strategies, identifying emerging trends in CSR and brand engagement to inform innovation.
  • Design and continuously refine systems and tools (e.g., Raiser’s Edge and Monday.com workflows) to improve corporate engagement tracking and performance management.

Engagement: Advocate

  • Build and maintain a portfolio of 50+ corporate partners and prospects with the potential for significant financial support.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for corporate partners, identifying shared values, aligning philanthropic goals, and guiding them through the engagement cycle from prospecting through renewal.
  • Act as an internal connector and cross-functional collaborator, coordinating with programs, communications, finance, and leadership to deliver tailored partner experiences.
  • Engage and support Equality Now’s leadership and board members in cultivating key relationships by preparing materials, briefings, and strategic guidance for high-level meetings.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to external stakeholders, developing long-term relationships based on mutual benefit, impact, and trust.

Delivery: Define Project Cycle 

  • Lead the full project cycle for corporate engagement initiatives—design, pitch, close, deliver, and renew—ensuring that all activities are on time, on brand, and on target.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality sponsorship requests, grant proposals, donor reports, presentations, and briefings tailored to partner interests and aligned with Equality Now’s funding priorities.
  • Oversee all aspects of corporate sponsorships for the annual gala, including benefit design, sponsor fulfillment, and relationship management.
  • Execute partnership activations and engagement events with precision and professionalism, ensuring brand alignment and visibility for both Equality Now and the corporate partner.
  • Track all donor interactions and pipeline progress in Raiser’s Edge and Monday.com, ensuring accurate data and timely reporting.
  • Contribute to team-wide planning efforts including annual development goals, budgeting, and evaluation processes to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Development function.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & TARGET SKILLS PROFILE:

Substantive Knowledge

  • Minimum of 5 years of frontline fundraising experience, including at least 3 years managing corporate partnership portfolios at a high level.
  • Proven track record of securing corporate gifts of $100,000+ and meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising principles, corporate philanthropy, and donor engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with CSR, ESG, and sustainability trends as they relate to corporate partnerships.
  • Deep commitment to gender equality, women’s rights, and broader human rights issues.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals, reports, and partnership pitches.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders, including corporate executives and internal leadership.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cultural and geographic boundaries, and to tailor messaging to different audiences and partnership contexts.

Execution Skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented, with a willingness to adapt and pitch in as needed to meet shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and efficiently with diverse and international colleagues in a remote setting.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Targeted & Specialized Knowledge

  • Experience using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM systems for donor and pipeline tracking.
  • Cross-cultural or international experience is preferred.
  • Specialized knowledge of the women’s rights, human rights, or social justice sectors is strongly desirable.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary for reference: UK - metro (London) £65,523 - £81,904, non-metro - £53,531 - £66,914; US - metro $85,025 - $106,281, non-metro - $69,464 - $86,830

At Equality Now, we offer a competitive salary aligned with global pay parity principles. Compensation is determined based on the candidate’s experience, professional background, location, and the UN Cost of Living index, which adjusts salaries to maintain an equitable standard of living across regions. The range below reflects the salary for this position in the UK (metro and non-metro) and US (metro and non-metro), though final compensation may vary based on cost-of-living adjustments and exchange rate fluctuations at the time of hire.

The final offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, and qualifications/certifications.
